ED 311A : Foundations of Inclusion in Teaching for CTE Teacher Candidates
This course is designed to help teacher candidates become more effective teachers, being especially considerate of the diversity of students we will find in our classrooms. The Foundations of Inclusion in Teaching for Career and Technical Education (CTE) helps candidates explore educational practices that support ALL learners, including unique and special education student populations. The course curriculum is focused on developing an understanding of the diversity in your classroom and creating accessible, diverse, developmentally appropriate, and supported instructional goals, learning experiences, and assessments. The inclusive setting in our classrooms includes a unique focus on students from low-income communities and all students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other special needs.
